2. What do you do?
I am the owner and head planner of Elizabeth L Events an event planning firm where we specialize in turning Ordinary Events into Extraordinary Experiences!
3. What motivates you?
I’m extremely results-driven. Doing a good job and achieving the desired end results is my motivation. My motivation comes from the smiles, and laughs of my clients during an event, the tap on the shoulder from the brides mom letting me know how happy she is, the friends of the couple enjoying themselves and letting everyone else know how great of a time they had. I am motivated by the joy of others and that they get to experience Elizabeth L.
4. How do you balance between your career, side hustles, and your social life?
WOW! I’m still learning how to do this. My planner is my best friend. I literally write everything down. If it isn’t on my list it won’t get done. A clear schedule is my strategy, my social life is included in that schedule as well. When I first started Elizabeth L I promised myself that I wouldn’t let my professional career suffer and so far I have succeed. If anything I’ve become even more focused.
5. What does Professional Homegirl means to you?
When I think of homegirl I automatically think of sisterhood! A professional homegirl is my sister in business, she’s my accountability partner, she fixes my crown as so I do hers, I can seek advice from her, she let’s me know if I’m wrong, and when I’m right. We support each other, we celebrate each other. We are sisters, and we hold each other up!
6.What advice would you give to young women who want to pursue their dreams?
JUST DO IT! Stop listening to others, don’t think twice about it, don’t wait for approval or for someone to agree with you, simply JUST DO IT!
