2018 What's Good?

Can you believe that 2018 is almost here? Where did the time go? 2017 was definitely a year of new beginnings whether it's was a new job, new relationships, or new lessons. With the new year approaching us, it is time to leave our bad habits behind and start off fresh with new and attainable personal and professional goals. Here are a few things that we all can say Bye Felecia to:

1.    Bad Spending Habits: It is time to stop living check to check and become better with our spending habits. I definitely know how it feels to get paid on a Friday, and by Monday, your check is already gone. I recently just signed up with www.mint.com where you can create a realistic budget that will help you manage with paying your bills on time. This free personal finance and money app tells you exactly what you are spending your money on which will help you manage with ease.

2.    Comparing Yourself to Others: OMG! I can honestly say that I was the worst when it came to this. If someone just purchased something new or accomplished a new goal, I would feel a way because I thought I was supposed to have it too. If you are like this, STOP. This mindset can be very toxic to your spirits and it is not healthy mentally and physically. We do not know what others are going through in their lives so don't fall victim to perception.  Instead, try writing down some of the things that you are grateful for every day and watch how your mindset shifts.

3.    Laziness/Procrastination: Get Shit Done. Stop putting things off for tomorrow that can be done today.  Time is not forever and it is time that we live the best version of ourselves NOW. No more excuses! If you did everything that you wanted to do, imagine how different your life would be. Stop scrolling on Instagram and wondering how other women are bossing up and become the boss that you always knew you could be. Life is too short to be focusing on the possibilities of the future. It is time to live in the NOW.

4.    Removing Negativity From Your Life: If someone is not motivating you, praying for you, loving you, or trying to get money with you.... THEY ARE A DISTRACTION (Thanks Diddy for this tweet). I think Diddy's tweet pretty much sums up this section.  Let's not continue to make excuses for keeping people or things longer than their expiration date.
