Ginge N Juice

Last week I told y’all that I have a new obsession: JUICING. My first recipe Morning Glow (click here to try it) is a mixture of cucumbers, carrots, ginger, green apples, lemons, and oranges. Last week I was drinking Morning Glow 3-4 times during the morning and y’all, I so see a difference in my complexion! My skin looks more radiant and smoother. If there is one thing for sure about me, I am all about the skin!

This week I created a juice recipe called Ginge n Juice. Get it? Like Gin N Juice? Lol okay, I’ll stop. Here are the ingredients and the benefits from each item listed below:

  • 1 Beet (Make sure to clean them off thoroughly and pat dry. Cut the stems off as well)- Beets help stimulate the production and repair of cells, which helps with premature aging. Not only do beets help fight wrinkles, but it will definitely give your skin a nice glow!
  • 4 Carrots- Carrots will help your skin become even more vibrant and healthy. Carrots include beta-carotene, an antioxidant that is changed into vitamin A inside of your body.  In addition, carrots help with your vision as well. Lord knows I need it because I am blind as hell. 
  • 1 Red Apple- Apples are full of vitamins which is necessary for glowing skin and healthy hair. Apples help reduce the risk of cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.
  • Thumb Size Amount of Ginger- Girls, if you have dark spots like me, ginger can help clear up your complexion while leaving it smooth. In addition, ginger helps with proper digestion and reduce the level of stress.
