Bourbon Legends Boxcar Event

Last night I was invited to the Bourbon Legends Boxcar. I love a good drink especially after a long day so I was excited to see what was in store for the attendees. For those of you that didn't know, the boxcar was one of the first ways to transport bourbon throughout America. Throughout the event, I myself was transported into the world of American Whiskey into four immersive multisensory bourbon experiences.

As we began our tour, we first started with a maze that showed us how bourbon was made. Each section was very interesting and informative. There were plenty of Bourbon experts available that will guide through this experience and they were extremely knowledgeable about bourbon. Afterward, attendees were given seven tokens to partake in food and drinks in exchange for a token. Chile, when I tell you these people were lit! You could receive shots from Maker's Mark, Jim Beam, Basil Hayden, and Knob Creek and/or customized bourbon cocktails that were made for that night.

The food was pretty tasty too. They had several options such as pork (yall know I don't eat any swine), macaroni and cheese, and the best biscuits I tasted in forever paired with butter made with bourbon. Ugh, I had to get back in line for two more biscuits lol.

If you are a bourbon fan, I do recommend to RSVP if you can. I don't like giving too much information out when it comes to events because I want you to experience for yourself. Plus, who doesn't like free drinks? To RSVP, please click here.
