The Blacker the Berry, The Sweeter the Juice

I was craving some blackberries the other day and decided to make an all berry juice for this week. There are so many health benefits in the berry family and I couldn't wait to share them with you all. Here are the ingredients and their benefits in The Blacker the Berry, The Sweeter the Juice. 

1 Green Apple
Strawberries
Blackberries
Blueberries
Raspberries 

For the berries, I did a handful of each. As you can see, I'm not big on measurements lol. After doing my research, here are the benefits of eating each ingredient: 

Anthocyanin- One of the most powerful antioxidants is found in all berries listed above and helps decrease the free radicals in the skin.  

Ellagic Acid- This antioxidant protects the skin from sun damage and restores the elasticity and collagen in the skin. Say bye bye to those wrinkles. 

Essential Fatty Acids- Necessary for general health, fatty acids help to improve the smoothness and hydration of the skin. Plus, it reduces inflammation!

Vitamin C- This is one of the strongest antioxidants out there. Vitamin C hydrates the skin and increases the collagen and elasticity levels.
